Is seeking an individual to fill a part time position located in our Administration Office in Mayerthorpe.

Payroll/Benefits Clerk

Directly reporting to the Finance Officer, the Payroll/Benefits Clerk is accountable for: Payroll, Benefit Administration and assisting in Reporting Financials. This position entails a high level of interaction with personnel.

Position Description
• Preparation, processing and reconciliation of payroll, benefits and associated remittances for over 100 employees
• Provide telephone, email and personal payroll and benefit support to staff
• Preparation and distribution of documents and statements associated with payroll and benefits
• RRSP/TFSA reporting and reconciling
• Preparation of financial and statistical reports as required

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

• At least 3 years of related experience and knowledge in computerized accounting and payroll procedures
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of Ceridian payroll program systems
