This Easter, learn the art of making pysanky – Ukrainian Easter eggs. Dyes, beeswax and a stylus are used to decorate the eggs with traditional Ukrainian designs. Fill your Easter basket with beautiful pysanky, rather than just plain colored eggs!
From 10:00am-1:00pm. Taught by experienced artist Lyrissa Sheptak, a member of the Alberta Council for the Ukrainian Arts.
-Cost is $20 per participant and includes a swim pass for after the workshop.
-As this does involve an open flame, all children under the age of 14 require a supervising adult.
-Must be 7 years or older
-All materials will be provided
-Must register before April 17th
-No experience required
