Rotation: 5 days on/2 days off
•Assist in general cleaning
•Assist the kitchen staff with meal preparation
•Maintain the kitchen work areas and equipment and all utensils in clean and orderly condition
•Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
•Washes pots, pans, and trays
•Sweeps and mops kitchen floors
•Cleans out garbage cans.
•Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
•Stocks and sets up tables. Removes trays and dishes from tables promptly.
•Washes and peels vegetables and other food as directed by cook.
•Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.
•Oversees stocking of all food serving areas according to the number of persons to be served, with a focus on quality, appearance, adequate stocking levels, and minimizing leftovers and product waste.
