I have a male 73% DNA tested Arctic Wolfdog that I am looking to stud out one time only.
I do not have a female dog. He has never had pups before; he’s 3.
Gray Wolves are able to reproduce during the winter months, and Wolfdogs with a higher content often follow these biological breeding seasons.
I will not just stud him to any dog.
He is extremely rare; being DNA tested and is an F1 (First Generation) Wolfdog, as his Dad is an Arctic Wolf, and his mother is a Wolfdog.
He also only has one dog breed (Malamute), at 27% of his genetics, which is unusual as Wolfdogs usually have two or three breeds of dog in them as well.
He also has no genetic health problems, and is cleared from any diseases or conditions of the 255 tested on Embark.
I have AI (Artificial Insemination kit) which can be used.
Wolfdogs have waiting lists, which are often two years and you have to have them shipped from the USA.
They are very expensive and usually require shipping.
They also have to have proper containment and diet.
He is not skittish in public and has a chilled temperament, loves being pet, is cuddly, loves to play.
Let me know what research, experience, and setup you have.
They are not a canine to breed just because they look cool. Pups have to go to specific homes.
