I have an uncommonly seen beauty for sale. 1944 Mosin Nagant, made in Izhevsk, that was captured and " professionally demilitarized" by the Ukrainians, hence the made in Ukraine markings on the receiver and magazine. That involves installing a bent bolt, shortening and crowning the barrel at 24", and moving the front sight back. Bayonet lug also has been deleted. Force matched numbers. Wood is in very nice shape, a couple minor marks here and there. Steel is in excellent shape, no rust or pitting. Receiver has the hammer and sickle stamping. The barrel rifling is immaculate, all shiny, no pitting. Comes as seen with sling and factory booklet. Can include the tan butt pad if wanted as well. Looking for $1000 shipped, price is firm.
