For sale is a 1954 sks. This is definitely a shooter. Although the internals are in decent shape, I can see evidence of browning (the beginning of surface rust) at the base of the piston head (in picture). The rear take down lever is missing and has been replaced with steel tubing. It was not a fun gun to examine the insides but the pin does hold and do its job. If this gun does not sell, I will likely replace this with a magwedge kwickpin and raise the price to match. The bottom of the breech block carrier seems to have some light browning. I will likely remove this later with emry cloth and update the pictures. Except for some wear marks near the pin, the stock is in excellent shape. The tapco stock has a reputation of being the best of the commonly available after-market stocks. It comes with one tan tapco magazine (20/5) It's far from perfect, but it is serviceable and a great buy for someone on a budget. Shipping available at actual cost or pick up in SE Edmonton.
