Modified Russian SKS with magwell adaptor$1400
78views•3 days ago
This is a consignment gun. I only know the following:
This is a refurbished 1950 Russian SKS in a tan ATI stock.
The gun has been modified to take AR15 pattern magazines via a mag wedge adaptor. I have tested the rifle with snap caps and it seems to feed as well as lock the bolt to the rear when empty. I have not fired this rifle with live ammunition.
It has a Specter Arms ALAD (gen3). When boresighted it appears to be zeroed for CQB. I sell ALAD sights and can answer more questions on this device if required.
The gas tube has been replaced with an aluminum railed gas tube.
The ATI stock (like all ATI sks stocks) folds and locks up tightly. The buffer tube wobble found in most ATI stocks is not present; everything is tight. On the lower rail is an unknown foregrip.
The cleaning rod and bayonet mount assembly have been removed.
The gun is being sold with 2 long bodied pinned magazines. I do not know the brand or "unpinned" capacity. The magazines are pinned by rivet (not crimped).
The breech block and breech block carrier are in fair condition. The mainspring is in excellent condition.
Shipping available at actual cost or pick up in SE Edmonton.
Before buying or viewing any firearm, your PAL must be verified as per the new regulations. If shipping, address name must match the one on the PAL.
There is a small bin of 762x39mm ammo that comes with the gun for a local sale. I don't feel like counting it.
