Jersey Giants take two years to fully mature so in order for me to acquire breeding stock so have to keep potential roosters for one year to be able to tell if they meet APA's standard of perfection for breeding , in which this fellow is not up to standards and should not be used for breeding. They get handled a couple times a day and are very gentle and well mannered so must go to a good home as a pet or bym roo. Jersey's live to be 6-8 years or old and are very gentle birds so he's extra friendly and gets along with my dogs , kids and other roosters. Rocky Mountain House
