P 17 rifle in 30-06 . U.S. made for war effort by Remington and Winchester. Similar to the P 14s made by Lee Enfield. When I first acquired this rifle I took it to the range and fired 2 shots at 100 m, it was dead on . it has been in the gun cabinet ever since. In very nice shape for its age.
