Antique Early 1800’s Ketland & Co. Flintlock Pistol

This is an early 1800’s W. Ketland & Co. Flintlock Pistol. This is a 60 caliber pistol and has a 8” brass barrel. A small portion of the trigger guard seems to have pulled away from the wood slightly. This pistol has a very minimal amount of minor handling dings on both the wood and brass. The lock place is marked W. KETLAND & Co. The brass barrel has some engraving with LONDON found on the top and British proof marks found on the left side. The ramrod seems to be a replacement. Mechanically very strong, holds half cock and full cock.
Thomas Ketland was a British businessman who made high quality firearms in Birmingham England from 1760 until his death in 1816. The business continued making firearms until 1821.
This is an antique so no PAL is required for purchase. Buyer must be 18 and able to prove it. Shipping is available at buyers expense. All used firearms should be inspected by a competent gunsmith prior to any form of use.
