Howdy Townpost I've got a few mag couplers for sale for ya. These are AK mag couplers but work just the same on Type 81 magazines as well (both are pictured). These are made of what appears to be a nylon reinforced polymer, come with blued steel hardware and have tension springs mounted on the internal bolts.
They're pretty easy to use. You have to simply loosen the bolts with a flathead screwdriver and slide in your mags and mount the coupler and your desired height. Ideally you can easily mount together 2 mags maybe 3 if you link together 3 tiny little SR mags. Or you can also link together 5, 40 round RPK mags and make a 5lbs unloaded lovecraftian horror like I have in the last picture.
Having 2 mags linked together easily clears both sides of the receiver and it's easy to swap between you 2 coupled mags.

I also have rubber recoil pads for the Type 81 as well, so if you want to combine the order to save on the shipping that's cool with me.
The couplers are located in Calgary AB, and can be picked up anytime. I am also able to ship nationwide on buyer's dime. I typically use flat rate boxes as they're almost always the cheapest method to ship things across the country. If you're in the AB,SK,MB region shipping regular mail will likely be cheapest $10-15. If you're outside of those areas i'll ship in a flat rate mailer box for $17.84. I will ship the same day you order as long as the post office isn't closed when I receive your order. Shipping will cost the same if buy 1 or 9, they should all fit in the flat rate box.
