Antique Smith & Wesson no 3 Russian model in 44 Russian caliber. This single action revolver functions very well with perfect lock and timing. The bore shows typical black powder pitting, but lots of shiny strong rifling.Most of the original finish is worn leaving a vintage brown patina, the two-piece wood grips are in good condition showing ware but no chips or cracks one side of the revolver has initials as seen in the picture. This is definitely an excellent example of a fully functional piece of Smith & Wesson history. PAL is not required to purchase this item as it is antique
