1955 Cleveland Barons AHL Hockey Metal Travel Chest w/ Gear$200
2views•5 hours ago
Here is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Cleveland and AHL hockey history! The Cleveland Barons played in Cleveland, Ohio from 1937 - 1973 at the Cleveland Arena. The most successful AHL team in history.
This hockey travel storage chest and gear belonged to #11 Gerald (Jerry) Prince, who kept it all of these years and includes his original vintage equipment: 2 pairs of skates, knee pads, hocket pants, shoulder pads and hockey gloves.
The chest and equipment were recently acquired from his widow. The metal chest at some point was painted black but it still has the original team colors and team stencils underneath. I have not tried to restore it as I am not skilled in that department, but it can be done.
