I built an incredible wood stove that has served me very well!
- HUGE internal volume, 16x16x24 allows for < 8 hour burn time. No more waking up cold to reload the stove!
- Made from 12ga hot rolled steel. The sides and bottom are continuous as they were bent/braked by a shop.
- Airflow damper was designed to allow a steady burn of coals for hours and hours without the possibility of the stove getting too hot. Come back to base camp to a warm tent.
- Grill directly on the stove or use the stove as a hot plate for your kettle and frying pans.
- Bottom baffle designed to allow intake air to disperse evenly under the fire to allow a consistent burn and to preheat the air for more efficient secondary combustion of gasses. Baffle also acts as an insulator to keep the heat from melting the snow below the stove.
- 8 feet of stove pipe and legs fit inside the stove to keep your parts together.
- Stove will fit under the tonneau cover of your pickup.
- Metal was treated with oil to prevent corrosion, you wont breathe in paint off gassing while you sleep.
Tried, tested and proven in a year of use.
Sleep warm in a tent at -30, perfect for a garage/shop or keep it ready for when isht hits the fan.
It's a great stove, I'm selling it to fund the purchase of a better welder so I can make another stove.
