The Pedersoli™ 1861 Springfield Percussion Rifle was originally manufactured in 1861, in limited quantities, by the “Springfield” Armoury, this replica, authentically reproduces one of America’s most historical firearms. More efficient than the earlier smooth bored muskets used during the American Civil War, the 1861 Springfield was a revelation in accuracy and dependability.
The 1861 Springfield Rifle features a beautiful 52 ½” one-piece american walnut stock in a satin finish. The Pedersoli™ Springfield sports a .58 caliber armory bright, 40” tapered round barrel in a 1:72 twist rate. The Springfield’s features two (2) steel flip-up rear sights and a one-piece steel blade front sight.
