Rare Side Hammer "Slapper" 12 Gauge Shotgun
$300.00

Selling on consignment by Vulcan Gun Refinishing, here's something you don't see every day. This was manufactured by Tingle Mfg. co. of Shelbyville, Indiana in the 60's or 70's. Information is scarce. We couldn't find a single picture on the Net. We were told it's nicknamed a "Slapper" 12 Gauge shotgun because of its' unique side hammer. It takes a Nipple and is a black powder muzzle loader. Overall length is 45 1/2" with a 30 " barrel. Overall in pretty decent shape it does need a trigger return spring but everything functions as it should once you pull the trigger forward after each shot. Stock is excellent and most of the bluing is present. Missing it's original cleaning rod it comes with one but it's not the correct one as it won't fit in the cleaning rod sleeves. $300.00. Selling "as is" with no warranty implied or given. More pictures available upon request.
