This bear headed, stag horn knife ( BLADE LENGTH 3 1/2" ) is a piece of art and has very lifelike, detailing. It was custom made for me to use as a patch knife when I attended muzzleloader shoots / rendezvous, which I no longer do. The scabbard was built and beaded by a local lady who specialized in the Woodland Cree style of beadwork. My full retirement ( and advancing age ) necessitates my moving to a smaller , more manageable home, resulting in me having to downsize several of my collections. Offering a limited edition ( LIMITED TO 50 ) WEIDMANNSHEIL JADGMESSER ( hunter's knife ), purchased about 35 years ago and never used, except to occasionally demonstrate to someone, how it is opened for use, as a knife and fork. It is a 3 7/8 INCH ( when closed ) HOBO model with a 3 inch blade, as well as a smaller 1 3/4 inch blade and a 2 3/4 inch long fork / bottle opener. By opening the large blade and the fork ( see photos ), it will slide apart for use as eating utensils. As stated on the accompanying certificate of authenticity, this edition was limited to a maximum production of 50 and the handles are Genuine Pearl. Original Civil War / early Indian War era, UMC Company , Bridgeport, Conn. U.S.ARMY musket cap tin....fine patina and crazing to the painted finish on the lid......there are 13 musket caps inside the tin (between some stiff, waxy layers of old, brown paper) which also appear to be original Civil War/Indian War era ,as they have a different colour of fulminate inside the cap, rather than the shiny, mercuric type found in our modern made caps. These original tins, especially with original musket caps, in such fine condition, are rarely encountered !! This is one of the nicest I have found in my 60 plus years of collecting civil war firearms and militaria. I am willing to ship at buyer’s expense but I cannot ship the live caps by Canada Post ( Purolator courier might be possible as they will ship primers ). Offering 350 (count) ACME, polymer coated, .357, 125 grain bullets --- were great for cowboy action shooting in my .38 SPLs......all have been weighed and batched in bags of 50 to plus or minus 1/10th of a grain ( listed weight on the bag ) but since I no longer have my cowboy action revolvers nor carbine, I have no further need for them. The target was shot by my grand daughter when she was 15 years old ( taught her to shoot at age 12 ), but now she shoots a pair of .45 Colts.
