Canada more than 400 years of History in famous paintings collection portfolios from 1967. These Government sanctioned reproductions are beautifully displayed with descriptive footnotes in French and English on a format of a thick papered canvas material. Portfolio's 1 and 2 contain the full collection of ( 42 ) wonderful paintings by notable Artists the likes of : JD Kelly, Rex Woods, HB Goodridge, Bruce Stapleton, Thomas Mitchell, Don Anderson and Vernon Gould. Many of the scenes depicted have long been out of print. This is a collectible pictorial history of Canada's Confederation, all ( 42 ) prints remain in mint condition, the covers have some wear. When I was a home owner these were all framed and hanged, and I purchased these at a Government auction 35 years ago.
