I bought this scope about 1 month ago, doesn’t really like it. The glass is clear, turrets are very audible. Everything is perfect but it’s too heavy on my hunting rifle. It is Japanese ED glass with Arken lifetime warranty. Everything is in pristine condition, never been mount or used. I just opened the box and checked it. Some parts have been refinished, hard to tell if it was done privately or be the arsenal. This is a Budapest M95 steyr (mannlicher) rifle chambered in 8x56r. It is an arsenal force match SN 5988H. Straight pull bolt action, 5rd clip fed (1clip included with rifle). History: prior to WWII the 1895 mannlicher rifles were cut down to carbine length and rechambered from 8x50r black powder to the more powerful 8x56r smokeless cartridge which is indicated by the “S” on the barrel and score line on receiver and barrel. There is a few variations of these rifles most commonly having the “M95” engraved on the receiver with a “steyr” or in this rifle’s case “Budapest”

This is a VZ24 Czech 8mm mauser with the “E lion” crest The receiver has formed a patina finish to it but the crest is deep and all details of the lion is clear. It is a non matching full furniture rifle. Top hand Gaurd is cracked the bands hold it together. Light/normal wear/scratches on stock wood and metal has not been refinished. Front sight is missing the VZ sight Gaurd a common part missing and not to hard to source, front sight is correct with the sight gaurd channel so the fix is easy as sourcing the part and sliding it in the channel. History: sourcing is a bit hard as many documents were lost/destroyed or not maintained during and post WWII. Some information I Did find on the E lion crest was some can be as old as 1935 but most with records dated and started to show up in 1936 they started to disappear in 1939 and many receivers with the Czech lion were required to be scrubbed after Germany absorbed Czechoslovakia during WWII.

Bushnell scope that tells you how many yards an object is. Great for multiple rifles. Has a hand devise that makes it easier to sight in the yardage. Great visual and is a really great scope! My shots were always accurate! Great if you don’t wanna make the extra travel and don’t want to just free stand. Well taken care of. Easily accommodates 2 rifles ( see photos ) ...... a great metal gun case ( if somewhat heavy construction ) which I purchased to hunt overseas. It has not seen much use ( actually only  1 flight on a hunting trip to New Zealand  carrying both a Malcolm scoped 16 lb., 32" barreled Sharps long range and an a scoped 10 lb. mid range ) , as well as a dozen or so trips by car to various gun shows in North America, at which I used to display various select arms from my Sharps and Remington Rolling Block collection. The sturdily built case weighs about 17.8 lbs. by itself and measures 53 1/2 " x 13 1/4 " x 4 1/2" . I have tried my best to photograph and show the few dents on both sides of the case. These are now in the $600 plus price range for a new one. YES, both keys still come with it!   I am willing to ship at buyer’s expense, or offer local pick up --- I am also in Red Deer one day per week and can arrange to meet there, or enroute, for delivery.

4 only like new Barska 30mm tube , 2 only in 10-40x-50mm, 2 only in 8-32x-50mm I have found this brand and model to be reliable as I personally have 4 in the 6-24x. I do not use or sell or recommend the cheaper models. Barska seems to be a midline scope manufacturer well above Tasco and Simmons and slightly below the best Bushnell and Nikons. Scopes come from my Dads estate, time to sell. They all have Mil Dot with rheostat illuminated cross hairs, 1/8 moa clicks, parrallax adjustment on mid turret location with exposed turrets , nitrogen purged, 1lb 12oz wieght, at least 4'' eye relief (have 1 of mine on a 300 WM). They where all mounted on rifles with only slight marks on a couple of them. I do not normally use scopes over 24x unless fixed power so i am selling these off for that reason. Will guarantee all sales with money back if scope is defective within 30 days of purchase.
