This is an antique Wesson & Harrington No.3 Second Type Revolver. It is estimated that less than 1000 of these second type revolvers were produced from 1874to 1879. This has a 5 shot fluted cylinder and is chambered in .32 rimfire. The octagon barrel is 2-3/4” long with the barrel address reading “WESSON & HARRINGTON WORCHESTER, MASS. PAT. FEB.7 JUNE 13,71”. The barrel markings are sharp. This revolver retains around 85+% of its original finish. Fire blue can still be found on the cylinder pin. The rosewood grips are in near excellent condition. This is an antique status revolver, so no PAL required but buyer must be over 18. Comes with FRT report. Manufactured in 1877 by Manufacture d’armes de Saint-Étienne model 1873. Was originally chambered in 11MM and has been modified to shoot 45/455 Webley. This revolver is in beautiful condition and mechanically works as it should. It shoots 455 Webley nicely, I have not tried 45. All serial numbers on parts match. The bore is nice with good rifling and minimal pitting. Prefer a local sale but willing to ship on buyers dime.

This is an Antique Harpers Ferry U.S. Model 1842 Smoothbore Percussion Musket. The overall length is 57-3/4” with a 42” long barrel and coming in at just under 10 pounds. This is a .69 caliber musket. These were designed in 1842 and were produced from 1844 to 1855, with this one being made in 1849. There is a partially visible eagle over US forward of the hammer. Rear of the hammer is the markings HARPERS FERRY 1849. Inspection marks can be found on the barrel near the breech and on the trigger guard. Overall condition is very good with a low amount of handling dings and a small crack in the wood by the butt plate. Mechanically in excellent condition with a strong action. The Model 1842 was the first U.S. musket to be produced with a percussion lock. It had an effective range of 100-300 yards and a maximum range of 400 yards. The 1842 was the last U.S. regulation .69 caliber musket. Many of these muskets later had the bores rifled and saw service in the American Civil War. This would make a great addition to any antique collection of would even be suited as a stand alone piece. This is an antique so no PAL is required for purchase. This is a Tranter Model 1863 Single Action Revolver Chambered in .455 centre fire. The majority of the model 1863’s were a double action with only a few hundred being produced in single action. Approximate serial number range for the single actions are between 4000 to 4500. This item being serial number 4010 would make it one of the first to be made of this model. The single actions were mostly produced in .442 rimfire, it is not known how many were produced in centre fire making this even more rare. This item has a 6-1/2” barrel with Cogswell & Harrison London retailer address engraved into it. Birmingham proof marks can be found on the barrel and frame. The firearm retains around 85% of the original finish. The checkered walnut grips are in excellent condition with a few very light dings. Mechanically it is in excellent condition and functions as it should. This is a very attractive English revolver that would fit well with any antique collection. this is an antique to no PAL is required for purchase. Buyer must be 18 or older and able to prove it. This is a Rare Antique Remington Early Production Type I, A.K.A. The Double Derringer. Remington produced around 150000 model 95’s between 1866 and 1935. There were only around 1600 produced before the addition of an extractor. Making this one the hardest to find for collectors. This type is marked “E.Remington & Sons, Ilion, N.Y.” on one side of the barrel rib and “Elliot’s Patent Dec. 12, 1865” on the other. Later models would see the addition of an extractor and the barrel address moved to the top rib. This has a 3” barrel, is chambered in .41 rimfire and has a spur trigger. There are a a few light handling dings and almost no original finish left. The grips are in fine condition. Mechanically it is still very strong with the action working and cycling as it should. The hinges are intact. There is a slight play in the lock up which would be a fraction of a millimeter. These were carried by many people in the Wild West as they were easily concealed. Wild Bill Hickok is said to have carried a pair of these at times. This would make a great addition to a Remington collection and could be the centre piece to any collection. this is an antique so no PAL is required for purchase. Howdy Townpost. This is a nice little and fair conditioned pocket tip-up revolver, in .30 Rimfire. In the 19th century, XXX was used denote very strong malt liquor. So I think marlin was trying to market in the name that this is a stout little gun. Similarly done by Hopkins & Allen with the naming of their "XL" series of pocket revolvers. These were made by Marlin from 1873-1887 with a total of roughly 26,000 being made. They are essentially copies of the Smith and Wesson Model 1 1/2's and 2's. The mechanical condition of this firearm is excellent. The hammer and cylinder function reliably and as intended. Timing and lock up are excellent. The barrel is tight on the frame. This revolver was tuned by my gunsmith too. The bore is worn but there's some life left in it. There's frosting at the front of the cylinder and the forcing cone. The nickel is mostly present on the frame and the beautiful original rosewood grips are in excellent shape. The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

Howdy Townpost! I've got a nice little uncommon and good condition subcompact Remington for sale now! This started its life as a Remington Model 1865 New Model Police as a cap and ball percussion revolver in .36 caliber. Many of these were never percussion guns as they existed in a weird transition period. And Remington made some of them from the ground up as cartridge guns. This one most likely was in inventory as a percussion revolver and was turned into a .38 rimfire cartridge revolver based on the serial number, in my opinion. These are one of the more rare and lesser known Remington cap and ball guns that were made. Remington only made 18,000 between 1865 and 1873. So they are relatively uncommon and scarce gun today. This is actually my personal favorite model of Remington percussion revolver they're a very handy subcompact-sized gun by today's standards they're bigger and much more comfortable in the hand in the grip than the pocket models but nice and light unlike the full size military .44s and they point very naturally. This particular example is in very good condition the nickel is a very high percentage of coverage some of the original silver plate is still visible on the trigger guard and some of the low areas. The color case hardening is still very colorful and defined on the hammer (pictured). The grips have been refinished but they are the originals. The wood grain is very interesting and beautiful in my opinion. The bore is in excellent condition especially for a Civil War era black powder firearm. This was likely carried in a police officer's holster and not fired much. It was well taken care of and the clean and good condition bore and chambres are reflection of that. The the mechanical function of this firearm is excellent as well. When I got the firearm it was actually in amazing condition to begin with and the mechanical function was perfect. It locks up and times perfectly. The hammer and the trigger pull are very crisp, light and smooth. And didn't require any adjustment, Remington did the job and they did it right the first time. The entire revolver has been taken apart and given a gunsmith's cleaning and was reassembled and lightly oiled. I came across a nice little Hunter leather holster at a gun show and found that it fit this gun very well so it's included as a freebie with the gun (pictured).
