The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. But the nearly invisible edge of the PK-AS and later on the Paragon discarded the idea that “good enough” was actually “good enough” in regards to situational awareness. Unlike the PK-AS, the Paragon is designed to be small and light. 4 only like new Barska 30mm tube , 2 only in 10-40x-50mm, 2 only in 8-32x-50mm I have found this brand and model to be reliable as I personally have 4 in the 6-24x. I do not use or sell or recommend the cheaper models. Barska seems to be a midline scope manufacturer well above Tasco and Simmons and slightly below the best Bushnell and Nikons. Scopes come from my Dads estate, time to sell. They all have Mil Dot with rheostat illuminated cross hairs, 1/8 moa clicks, parrallax adjustment on mid turret location with exposed turrets , nitrogen purged, 1lb 12oz wieght, at least 4'' eye relief (have 1 of mine on a 300 WM). They where all mounted on rifles with only slight marks on a couple of them. I do not normally use scopes over 24x unless fixed power so i am selling these off for that reason. Will guarantee all sales with money back if scope is defective within 30 days of purchase.

Hey, all! I am in search of a Remington 700, preferably chambered in: 7mm08, 6.5x55 or .30-06. Really anything less powerful than a .300 wm or 7mm mag. I would also prefer it to be pre-bankruptcy, (around 2006), and it needs to have a bottom metal, which the adl model lacks.
