As the title says. Just got my pal this year and am going to learn to hunt and hopefully in the next couple years fill a freezer with meat. I’ve been plinking with a .22 for the last couple months but now I’m looking for a good (but affordable) bolt action rifle, scope, also looking for advice on hunting in general and gear recommendations. If you have a rifle or scope that’s just sitting around let me know, I’ll take care of it and use it well. Budget is $750. Looking for .308 .30-06 calibre. This is an Atlasworx bottom metal for Tikka T3X, and it is made out of actual metal. It is a drop in replacement (two screws to undo) for the factory plastic. Selling my beautiful Browning B.A.R Mk3 Stalker chambered in .308 win. I've developed a thing for setting up rifles and then selling them to try something new.
