Howdy Townpost. I am selling this Remington 3.5inch Super-Mag that I picked up from BassPro in Calgary. I never got around to shooting it but I got a deal on it so I'm willing to let it go for cheaper than usual. This was a store demo gun, which essentially means it was dry cyled and shown to customers a few times. It's more or less a brand new shotgun. There's hardly any wear on it with the exception of some cosmetic blemishes from some small patches of surface rust that formed on the parkerized receiver. I suspect they never oiled it and peoples hands or just some moisture caused it. I cleaned it off and oiled the whole gun. It's pretty smooth even though it's a new gun and hasn't been broken in. The rubber recoil pad is still nice and soft The date code looks like AJ so it's a 2015 production. It was kicking around BassPro for almost 11 years! These regularly retail for $750+tax but occasionally go on sale for $650+tax. So I think $575with no tax is not a bad deal for an essentially brand new shotgun. The shotgun is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. It's pretty short when broken down, and is light so it should be relatively inexpensive to ship. If you live in Alberta I do get around the province a fair bit throughout the year, so if I happen to be heading to your area maybe we can do a meet up along the way on my travels to save you the shipping costs. Awesome shooting all around rifle. It excels on getting packed around the mountains or long walks around home. Very well taken care of. It’s hammered everything from beaver to antelope to moose and elk. 6.5x284 is a very capable flat shooting round that is used by Gunwerks for their long range setups. Vortex Diamondback BDC 4-12x40 is in great condition with vortex lifetime warranty. The hash marks make bullet drop compensation super easy. I shot my antelope with it at 510 yards. 7lbs 1 0z all in fully loaded, super light. Awesome sheep gun. Comes with extra bullets, once shot casings, and a die set for reloading. Howdy Townpost! I've got a nice little uncommon and good condition subcompact Remington for sale now! This started its life as a Remington Model 1865 New Model Police as a cap and ball percussion revolver in .36 caliber. Many of these were never percussion guns as they existed in a weird transition period. And Remington made some of them from the ground up as cartridge guns. This one most likely was in inventory as a percussion revolver and was turned into a .38 rimfire cartridge revolver based on the serial number, in my opinion. These are one of the more rare and lesser known Remington cap and ball guns that were made. Remington only made 18,000 between 1865 and 1873. So they are relatively uncommon and scarce gun today. This is actually my personal favorite model of Remington percussion revolver they're a very handy subcompact-sized gun by today's standards they're bigger and much more comfortable in the hand in the grip than the pocket models but nice and light unlike the full size military .44s and they point very naturally. This particular example is in very good condition the nickel is a very high percentage of coverage some of the original silver plate is still visible on the trigger guard and some of the low areas. The color case hardening is still very colorful and defined on the hammer (pictured). The grips have been refinished but they are the originals. The wood grain is very interesting and beautiful in my opinion. The bore is in excellent condition especially for a Civil War era black powder firearm. This was likely carried in a police officer's holster and not fired much. It was well taken care of and the clean and good condition bore and chambres are reflection of that. The the mechanical function of this firearm is excellent as well. When I got the firearm it was actually in amazing condition to begin with and the mechanical function was perfect. It locks up and times perfectly. The hammer and the trigger pull are very crisp, light and smooth. And didn't require any adjustment, Remington did the job and they did it right the first time. The entire revolver has been taken apart and given a gunsmith's cleaning and was reassembled and lightly oiled. I came across a nice little Hunter leather holster at a gun show and found that it fit this gun very well so it's included as a freebie with the gun (pictured). Howdy Townpost. I've a neat old single shot 12 gauge made by Savage. It has a nice and light tenite stock that was sanded at one point to give it a matte finish. The shotgun is very tight and not off the face at all. The gun is very light and handy sitting 5.73lbs. It has a 12 gauge 2 3/4in, 28in full choke barrel. The patent number is molded into the plastic stock interestingly enough. The black paint on the trigger guard is flaking of a little.
