This is a really nice excellent condition 22 rifle. Made sometime between 1947-49. So pretty rare. Tube feed bolt action that can hold 20 rounds of long rifle! Stock has been refinished. Majority of the bluing is still there. Comes with a side scope mount that is the weaver base. This rifle is built like a tank and super accurate with that peep sight setup. This, the infamous rifle that was said to be the most accurate and well built for it's time, it's more known for causing the deaths of tens of thousands of Canadians and the other countries that adopted this rifle for the reason of fighting in the trenches WW1 and would get sand/mud ECT in the bolt action though it was so well made the precision and delicate machining of this had it opened to jamming, and when our troops ran into this under fire, to clean it out was time consuming, I bought this back around early 2000's for the purpose of giving it to a museum that has my great grandfather's war memorial, the plan changed a while back and looking to downsize, I don't use it for any purpose and has been locked up for years. Custom built very accurate, lifetime warranty on the scope. Model 700 heavy barrel. Muzzle break comes with about 42 rounds and some spent brass. Also the pelican case just purchased. Little over 4K invested shot 18x sighting it in haven’t used it since. Price is firm I’d rather keep it than lose any more than what it’s listed for.
