The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. I did not get the 'go' gauges as that defines the minimum headspace and I was looking out for headspace growing with usage of the gun. Primarily for when I was searching for guns to purchase.  The field gauges indicate maximum safe headspace in used guns, i.e. slightly larger than the SAAMI as manufactured. If a 'Field' gauge will chamber, don't shoot the gun.  I'm not sure if I ever actually used these. They are in as new condition.
