It’s hammered everything from beaver to antelope to moose and elk. 6.5x284 is a very capable flat shooting round that is used by Gunwerks for their long range setups. Vortex Diamondback BDC 4-12x40 is in great condition with vortex lifetime warranty. The hash marks make bullet drop compensation super easy. I shot my antelope with it at 510 yards. 7lbs 1 0z all in fully loaded, super light. Awesome sheep gun. Comes with extra bullets, once shot casings, and a die set for reloading. I did not get the 'go' gauges as that defines the minimum headspace and I was looking out for headspace growing with usage of the gun. Primarily for when I was searching for guns to purchase.  The field gauges indicate maximum safe headspace in used guns, i.e. slightly larger than the SAAMI as manufactured. If a 'Field' gauge will chamber, don't shoot the gun.  I'm not sure if I ever actually used these. They are in as new condition. Howdy Townpost. This is a nice little and fair conditioned pocket tip-up revolver, in .30 Rimfire. In the 19th century, XXX was used denote very strong malt liquor. So I think marlin was trying to market in the name that this is a stout little gun. Similarly done by Hopkins & Allen with the naming of their "XL" series of pocket revolvers. These were made by Marlin from 1873-1887 with a total of roughly 26,000 being made. They are essentially copies of the Smith and Wesson Model 1 1/2's and 2's. The mechanical condition of this firearm is excellent. The hammer and cylinder function reliably and as intended. Timing and lock up are excellent. The barrel is tight on the frame. This revolver was tuned by my gunsmith too. The bore is worn but there's some life left in it. There's frosting at the front of the cylinder and the forcing cone. The nickel is mostly present on the frame and the beautiful original rosewood grips are in excellent shape. The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

I’m definitely on the fence about this one, I have a Left Handed Browning medallion Xbolt in 30-06. I bought it used. I haven’t sighted it in a shot a few rounds through it but that’s about it. As for the condition, it’s definitely seen some use, it’s the way I got it when I bought it. I’ll probably give it a 7/10.
