Selling off my Simson 12ga over/under. this firearm has a date stamp of 953. Meaning it was built on the 9th month or 1953. The firearm also is stamped with a S marking. This stamp was for quality of the firearm and its ranked as top level quality. The firearm has double triggers and top locking lugs. All serial numbers match. Barrel length is 28”. NOT for SALE - LILJA Warranty reference only. MAY 7, 2024 - Fifth anniversary. News Update; By acquiring a quality bore scope, I was able to see the problem with barrel. The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation. UNIQUE -- NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA. Call phone or e-mail only. No messages. Aug. 27/24: Over the past 3 years I just added 3817 rds. of CCI 22 shorts to round count. Still shooting 1/4" groups at 50 yds.

Has been a fun gun to shot. Great for long range and never failed on a hunt. Defiance action in 7mm wsm with a long shot precision barrel that is fluted can you reduce some weight. There is a 10° break installed, which relieves almost all kick. It all rests in the McMillan stock with adjustable, cheek rest. For optics it is an nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50 scope. KS Arms did the bedding and built a 25” Stainless Steel #4 barrel with a detachable muzzle break. The rifling is done in a Gain Twist. Comes with Stainless Steel mounts and 30mm rings. I have a Model 1908, 12 gauge single shot, Harrington and Richardson arms CO( Worcester.mass.USA made in USA) (12 gauge choke) for sale. This 12 gauge single shot has had the barrel shortened to about 20 inches. Barrel and receiver are in nice condition with little to no scratches shown in pictures.
