Selling as i have less time to shoot rifles and this one deserves to go to someone who will shoot it. I know there is varying reviews on these conversions. My understanding is most (possibly all) were done by century arms and some cycled and some did not. Do your own research please. This one has cycled 125rds of the lake city ammo for me and I don't recall any failures. Both mags did work. Can't guarantee any other ammo as I only tried the one. At the time I acquired this rifle the original scopes were either unavailable or very expensive. I found the vomz played the part. The front is attached with an original ring and a bushing. The back I had to make a scope ring to clamp the back in place. It's machined aluminum painted black. There is just enough room to slide the scope on and off its rail without having to remove the scope from the mount. This rifle was purchased and imported by me in 2010. I’m the original owner. This is a left hand bolt action .22lr, magazine fed 5 shot repeater. It has a 24” #3 Douglas barrel,OD green Kevlar stock w/cheekpiece. There are a total of 3-5 shot magazines plus one that needs work to function properly. I’ve ruined enough mags to know better than to try to fix it myself. The barrelled action was a satin finish that’s been Ceracoated. It has a Timney trigger and a Talley picatinny 0 degree rail, also two sets of different height 1” ULA proprietary rings also made by Talley. Includes two EB Rifleman 2.8-9X40 green anodized scopes with P4 reticle and target turrets, a wood M40 style stock that has a pillar bedded action and free floated barrel. The Kevlar stock is full length bedded including the barrel. Speaking of the barrel, it’s a 24” chrome/moly not stainless and it’s 0.660” at the muzzle, so it’s heavier than a standard barrel but it’s not as heavy as a varmint weight barrel. It’s for sale because I’m not going to make good use of it at my age. It’s only going to waste in the gun safe. Once again it is a left hand action. Condition and performance? Condition is Excellent and can it shoot? Absolutely. It’s not picky about ammo. Will shoot most standard velocity well, never tried high velocity and absolutely no Stingers. I believe they’ll cause problems due to the type of chamber. Besides, if you use Stingers you don’t need this type of rifle. If you have any other questions or need more photos, let me know.
