The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation. UNIQUE -- NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA. Call phone or e-mail only. No messages. Scarce civilian Cooey Model 82 .22 cal. single shot rifle This model is harder to find compared to the Canadian Military surplus Model 82 rifles normally found. The metal shows 85% original blue and is devoid of the Military C broad arrow markings on the barrel and bolt. The rifle has the original 2-piece full length Mannlicher type stock in excellent condition with no serial or military markings. According to information available they were produce in the 1940's and possible into the early1950's when they disappeared from commercial advertising.
