NOT for SALE - LILJA Warranty reference only. MAY 7, 2024 - Fifth anniversary. News Update; By acquiring a quality bore scope, I was able to see the problem with barrel. The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation. UNIQUE -- NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA. Call phone or e-mail only. No messages.   I am downsizing my antique gun and militaria collection to move into a much smaller house with a much smaller gunroom.......offering an original 1880's Mills pattern , woven ammo belt with a rare 1881 Patent Mills/Orndorff brass buckle and retainer. The loops hold .40 to .45 caliber rounds and included are twenty .44-90 Sharps bottleneck cartridges. Please view the photos closely as the belt has been well used and has some damaged loops and earlier field repairs.....I have always refrained from doing any repairs or "enhancements" to my original antiques as the wear and tear is a natural part of its history and character. The cartridges are not original but are repro brass which was purchased about 45 years ago and which I loaded with black powder and some very old primers which were purchased about 50 years ago ( used for display purposes only ). The belt and attached buckle were purchased by me in 1967 at an Ohio gun show. The brass buckle has that beautiful patina which only time can create and it does have a few dents from honest wear and tear.....contact me if you interested and need more photos, or different angles, as the website only allows 10 photos.
