Here is an excellent condition Bruno factory made German VZ 24. This is a non- matching rifle however is an excellent condition stock and boar. Comes complete with cleaning rod and site hood cover as well as  2 sling option positions with  winter trigger guard.  The Germans occupied Czechoslovakia in 1938, and their control over factories in Brno, like the Zorojovka arms factory and textile mills (like the one where Schindler's list connection is), began then, with production continuing under German direction, especially for arms like the vz. 24 rifles and ZK-383 submachine guns, until the end of World War Il in 1945. Howdy Townpost! I've got a nice little uncommon and good condition subcompact Remington for sale now! This started its life as a Remington Model 1865 New Model Police as a cap and ball percussion revolver in .36 caliber. Many of these were never percussion guns as they existed in a weird transition period. And Remington made some of them from the ground up as cartridge guns. This one most likely was in inventory as a percussion revolver and was turned into a .38 rimfire cartridge revolver based on the serial number, in my opinion. These are one of the more rare and lesser known Remington cap and ball guns that were made. Remington only made 18,000 between 1865 and 1873. So they are relatively uncommon and scarce gun today. This is actually my personal favorite model of Remington percussion revolver they're a very handy subcompact-sized gun by today's standards they're bigger and much more comfortable in the hand in the grip than the pocket models but nice and light unlike the full size military .44s and they point very naturally. This particular example is in very good condition the nickel is a very high percentage of coverage some of the original silver plate is still visible on the trigger guard and some of the low areas. The color case hardening is still very colorful and defined on the hammer (pictured). The grips have been refinished but they are the originals. The wood grain is very interesting and beautiful in my opinion. The bore is in excellent condition especially for a Civil War era black powder firearm. This was likely carried in a police officer's holster and not fired much. It was well taken care of and the clean and good condition bore and chambres are reflection of that. The the mechanical function of this firearm is excellent as well. When I got the firearm it was actually in amazing condition to begin with and the mechanical function was perfect. It locks up and times perfectly. The hammer and the trigger pull are very crisp, light and smooth. And didn't require any adjustment, Remington did the job and they did it right the first time. The entire revolver has been taken apart and given a gunsmith's cleaning and was reassembled and lightly oiled. I came across a nice little Hunter leather holster at a gun show and found that it fit this gun very well so it's included as a freebie with the gun (pictured). The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

Many Czech produced post-war Mausers were made with mostly late war and some newly produced parts. These were sold to various different militaries and on the commercial market many and of these were sold to the Israelis as well. The rifle features many late war stamped parts including the oversized winter trigger guard but does include a half size cleaning rod unlike the Kriegsmodell K98's produced by the Germans. It does not have a stock disk, as it just has a hole drilled in the butt cap for disassembly of the bolt. This particular example has a low serial number, but the serial number ranges are all over because of different contracts. The whole gun matches with the new forced match serial number. It has a scrubbed receiver, and has a beech wood stock and handguard in a nice brown color. The rifle bore is actually in very good shape, but there is some stubborn fouling stuck in there and I don't have a 32 Caliber cleaning brush to remove it but I'm sure if you use the proper brush it should come out pretty easy since it's not rust. Just shooting the rifle might even remove it. The muzzle crown is an excellent condition as pictured. The rifle does have minor some stock damage. It looks like a vice dent or some sort of hammering pattern, but it's only on the one side (pictured). Overall the gun is in very good original condition and the action is nice and smooth and it is unfired by me. This is a nice unique example of a k98 made by Brno, who is very well known for their quality produced firearms. The rifle is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. If you live in Alberta I do get around the province a fair bit throughout the year, so if I happen to be heading to your area maybe we can do a meet up along the way on my travels to save you the shipping costs.
