Now that I'm in my late 70's , I am downsizing my antique gun and militaria collection to move into a much smaller house with a much smaller gunroom.......offering an original 1880's Mills pattern , woven ammo belt with a rare 1881 Patent Mills/Orndorff brass buckle and retainer. The loops hold .40 to .45 caliber rounds and included are twenty .44-90 Sharps bottleneck cartridges. Please view the photos closely as the belt has been well used and has some damaged loops and earlier field repairs.....I have always refrained from doing any repairs or "enhancements" to my original antiques as the wear and tear is a natural part of its history and character. The cartridges are not original but are repro brass which was purchased about 45 years ago and which I loaded with black powder and some very old primers which were purchased about 50 years ago ( used for display purposes only ). The belt and attached buckle were purchased by me in 1967 at an Ohio gun show. The brass buckle has that beautiful patina which only time can create and it does have a few dents from honest wear and tear.....contact me if you interested and need more photos, or different angles, as the website only allows 10 photos. Howdy Townpost! I have a unique one for you this time. You there sir or madam! You wouldn't want to travel these dangerous streets without some form of protection under your coat! Have a look at this and turn off barrel pistol with a switchblade bayonet for backup, made by Mr. Nock. You may need it should you encounter any rowdies! This is a single shot box lock percussion pistol. It's a screw-barrel meaning you unthread the barrel, fill the powder chamber and place a ball on top it. You then use the barrel itself and the threads to seat the ball inside of the breach. Then a percussion cap on the nipple, put it at half cock put it in your dapper overcoat and pull it out should you meet any Scallywags on your travels. In my opinion this is an early Samuel Nock made Circa 1840s pistol. Based on comparable examples I've seen and the style of Engraving and construction of the pistol this appears to be an early production Samuel Nock made pistol. Samuel Nock was the nephew and an apprentice of of the more famous Henry Nock. Samuel knock became a very skilled and renowned gun maker in his own right. Most of his guns would be marked S. Nock but some of his earlier stuff had only his last name. I suspect he was trying to trade on his more famous uncle's name at the time. Overall the pistol is in pretty good condition except for a small hairline crack in the frame (pictured). There is some moderate pitting in the bore however it looks worse in the photo than it actually is. This is a smooth bore pistol and is breech loading so the pitting shouldn't make it difficult to load or shoot. This pistol was intended for point blank range shooting by virtue of the fact that has a stubby little bayonet to use in case you missed your target. The pistol mechanically fine. The trigger and lockwork are all in good working order and the spring loaded bayonet mechanism works perfectly. They are often broken because of the small springs and the daily carry type use of these firearms. The pistol is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

Howdy Townpost. I have here a nicely restored Cooey Model 82. I got the gun as an oil stained and sporterized target .22. It's had the stock nicely refinished in a satin urethane finish done in the fashion to mimic an old oil finished stock. The stock has a pretty nice grain pattern on the underside of it (pictured). The bore is excellent. The stock had a chunk out of it to accomodate a Lyman peep-sight and the receiver was drilled and tapped for it as well. That has all been repaired (pictured) and is hardly noticeable now. There was a hairline crack near the middle barrel band that was filled too. It probably wasn't necessary to fill especially on a .22 , but hey she's been filled. It has all the C-broad arrow markings present. The rifle is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide on the buyer's dime. If you live in Alberta I do get around the province a fair bit throughout the year, so if I happen to be heading to your area maybe we can do a meet up along the way on my travels to save you the shipping costs. Belgium made british bulldog type revolver chambered in 455 webley. Finish is gun metal grey with some blue left in protected areas. Mechanics function well in both double and single action. Bore on the 3" barrel is good with aggressive rifling. Grips are in fair condition with some bruises. No chips, cracks or repairs. It has what appears to be a rack number stamped on it in a couple places ( Z537).Price includes shipping and it will come with an RCMP FRT report with this guns serial number showing status.

12 ga. double barrel side by side shotgun. Made by G [George] Bate a famous English gunmaker from Birmingham England. double triggers. double exposed hammers. 2.5 inch chambers. all the metal parts of the firearm are covered with delicate intricate engraving. the barrels appear to be Damascus steel. There is no serial number from the manufacturer. There is a serial number sticker from the Canadian Firearms Registry on the side of the receiver from when the firearm was registered under the now defunct long gun registry. all old firearms records for this gunmaker were destroyed in the 1940's when the factory was bombed in WWII. The gun was made between the 1890's and the 1920's. G Bate Maker, changed its name to G Bate Ltd in the 1920's. in the 1990's the name was changed to Bate & Cross [Gunmaker] Ltd. it has been well cared for. there is no rust and no pitting. the wooden stock has some scratches and dents but is not cracked. it has not been fire for many decades.
