Hey, all! I am in search of a Remington 700, preferably chambered in: 7mm08, 6.5x55 or .30-06. Really anything less powerful than a .300 wm or 7mm mag. I would also prefer it to be pre-bankruptcy, (around 2006), and it needs to have a bottom metal, which the adl model lacks. As the title says. Just got my pal this year and am going to learn to hunt and hopefully in the next couple years fill a freezer with meat. I’ve been plinking with a .22 for the last couple months but now I’m looking for a good (but affordable) bolt action rifle, scope, also looking for advice on hunting in general and gear recommendations.
