Howdy Townpost! I've gotten my hands on some stubby steelies! These are new production Yugoslavian military patterned magazines made in Croatia. These are well made and the milling was done well too. These are all properly pinned to 5 rounds. And are nice for hunting with a shorter mag or hauling it around with a shorter and lighter mag when compared to standard a 5/30 rounder. These magazines will also work with an AK magazine coupler (I have these for sale for $20). Which for an SKS-D some plastic on the coupler must be removed first. The M10X should work with a coupler without issues the same goes for the WK-181 and modded mags in the Type-81. These can be modified to fit into a Type-81. I also have modded mags for sale which are $55 each. I am the only seller who has these Croatian 5/10's in Canada. Even the crappy Gen.1 KCI 5/10's are out of stock practically everywhere in Canada. This is a limited run, so don't miss out. The mags are $40 each. The mags will come in a plastic bag in preserving oil that can be easily cleaned up with any degreaser or simply hot water and dish soap in your kitchen sink with a quick scrub and then dried. It's a good idea too to apply a light coat of gun oil. A single drop rubbed across the entire mag is enough. These mags will fit in the SKS-D, the M10X series, and they might require some hand fitting to work in the WK-181, since Kodiak designed those things with odd magwell dimensions with PMAGS in mind. In all likelihood though, they will work out of the box for you. The magazines are located in SW Calgary and can be picked up anytime. I am also happy to ship nationwide, this is of course at the buyer's expense. Shipping within my region will cost $13-15, and nationwide elsewhere is $18.89 flat rate. This is a budget friendly fixer upper Remington Model 1858 New Army revolver chambered for .44 caliber - price OBO. This revolver would have been born around the US Civil War, and based on level of wear probably saw use in the battle field before being harvested for parts at some point. Who knows what this revolver has seen in its long and resolute time on earth. Luckily it shows promise to be revived as parts still move freely and are not bound up. All required parts are available online, such as from Dixie Gun Works who accept international orders. Functional, a large caliber Remington Revolver in this shape this would generally go for $2000-$3000, with the only other one currently listed at $3800. By my judgement, this revolver has the following issues: Barrel: loosened 1/16th turn, missing front sight and loading lever catch. Gouge around circumference and a couple dents. Frame: Cylinder pin is undersized (should get a replacement), needs seating lever and trigger guard/trigger guard screw Action: Needs cylinder hand, trigger return spring, and mainspring Overall these parts all appear to be available online from several websites including Positives are that the hammer and trigger move very freely without evidence of rust, and that the cylinder stop, trigger, and hammer interface all seem correct so that with a trigger return spring, mainspring, and cylinder hand all should be able to resume action operation and lockup. Probably a new cylinder pin would be beneficial for this also. The hardwood (walnut) replacement grips are very sturdy and fit well. The rifling is still present and does not look too worn. The frame is in great shape, with an "antiqued" dark grey patina that shows no evidence of active pitting. Overall a promising revolver for repair for an opportunistic buyer to add value. Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action 38-55. Date 1909 The stock was varnished at some point. The wood on forearm and butt stock is very good with just some minor bangs from use. Original curved steel recoil butt plate is in place. The bluing on barrel, magazine and lever is approximately 75% and the receiver is < 10%. The metal is good but has some minor scratches, etc. and evidence of minor surface rusting. The non-load side of the received looks like course steel wool was used on it. Buck horn sights are in excellent condition and period correct. The barrel is 26” with a full magazine, and the muzzle looks good. Bore is polished & shiny and shows very minor past corrosion, probably from black powder use. Rifling is in good condition. Screws have been used but are in very good condition. All lettering and the serial number are crisp and clear. Operationally everything checks out. The trigger is good. The firing pin extends out when pushed, The cartridge lifter works well and the ejector is tight. Spring on loading port is tight. Half cock safety works and hold when bumped, when at full cock or fire ready the hammer does not fall when bumped. Overall, this firearm is graded as good. A good addition to any collection. This is an antique Wesson & Harrington No.3 Second Type Revolver. It is estimated that less than 1000 of these second type revolvers were produced from 1874to 1879. This has a 5 shot fluted cylinder and is chambered in .32 rimfire. The octagon barrel is 2-3/4” long with the barrel address reading “WESSON & HARRINGTON WORCHESTER, MASS. PAT. FEB.7 JUNE 13,71”. The barrel markings are sharp. This revolver retains around 85+% of its original finish. Fire blue can still be found on the cylinder pin. The rosewood grips are in near excellent condition. Mechanically strong with proper timing and lockup. This is an antique so no PAL is required for purchase. Buyer must be 18 or older and able to prove it. Shipping is available at buyers expense. Winchester Model 1895 30-40 Krag Ref #1047 This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, round barrel, shotgun style rear stock. Dated 1903. Stock is in good shape, forend has a few chips missing next to metal, the rear stock is excellent, finish is period correct. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 28” long with period sights intact. Bore is nice and clean with minimal to no corrosion, excellent rifling top to bottom. Bluing appears original and app. 20% throughout. There are very few minor scratches on metal. Screws are mostly unused, one does appear to have seen a screwdriver but is in very good shape. The lever functions well, safety checks out and the trigger pull, and drop are good. Firing pin is evident. Ejector is intact and tight, and magazine follower is correct. Overall, I grade this firearm as very good and should be fully functional. I did not test with snap caps or fire. Only reasonable offers are considered. Low ball offers will not be responded to. Winchester Model 1894 38-55 Ref #1040 This Winchester is a lever action, sporting rifle, octagon barrel, full mag. Dated 1895 Stock is very good – good. Small tang crack 1” long, and a minor chip gone at tang. Forearm has an app. 2” crack and a few very minor cracks. The stock has typical bang marks. Finish appears original or period correct. Original metal recoil pad fits well. Barrel is 26” long with sights intact, rear sight may have been replaced at one time, again period correct. Bore has black powder corrosion but it’s clean now and has rifling top to bottom. Bluing appears original and app. 75-85% throughout. There are bumps and scratches on metal and evidence of minor surface rusting. Screws have been used, but in very good shape.
