Samozaryadny Karabin Simonova Russian manufactured 7.62×39 caliber carbine. This edition was produced at the Izhevsk factory (arrow in triangle in circle factory symbol) in 1953. They only made these rifles in 1953 & 1954 at the Izhevsk factory. That makes this model version a more rare Russian model as opposed to the SKS's from the Tula factory which produced higher numbers, This rifle is in excellent shape with the rifling in great condition. Maybe a few very minor handling/storage blemishes. I have not fired the rifle and I have no way of confirming its history, but it looks to be in great condition. If you are looking for a great SKS to put in your collection this rifle should warrant some consideration. Asking $980. Not interested in trades. Located in Stony Plain, AB.
