Up for grabs is a very collectable IVER JOHNSON 12 GUAGE DOUBLE BARRELLED SHOTGUN. MANUFACTURED IN THE YEARS 1925-1935 in Colberg Ontario. Descibed as fitting into the category of "COACH GUN" the barrel length is 24 inches. and is the "HERCULES GRADE" FIREARM. The unit is in pretty good shape for it's age. There is a very very very small touch of pitting in the barrel. The exterior has it's usual "patina". I think the photos will spesk for themselves. The serial numbers all match (1823). I’d like to share a few important details about the gun so you can buy with confidence: 1. Condition & history I purchased this shotgun used about a year ago from a well-known gun store in Vancouver. It was fully inspected by their gunsmith at the time of purchase and confirmed to be in excellent condition. I have personally put fewer than 350 rounds through it. The gun has always been carefully cleaned, oiled, and properly stored. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. Updated ejector design (important) This is the latest upgraded version of the 690. Please note that not all 690 Black Edition models have this upgrade, but this one does. You may have heard about ejector issues on earlier 690/692 models. I had the same concern before buying, so I did extensive research. The original 690 and 692 shared the same problematic ejector design. Beretta resolved this issue with the 694, and my updated 690 Black Edition uses the improved ejector system as well. You can look up images of the ejectors used in the 694 and 692 models and compare them with the one on this gun. The 692 never received this fix, which is why it no longer appears on Beretta’s website, while both the 690 Black Edition is still listed. In practical terms, you don’t need to spend extra on a 694 to get a similar shooting experience This 690 delivers excellent quality and performance, clearly above the 686, while saving you money. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Professional Trap configuration This is the Professional Trap model with fixed chokes, so there’s no risk of loose tubes or thread damage. It’s also very easy to clean and maintain. The gun fires the first shot from the lower barrel, and the trap configuration is optimized for rising clay targets. You’ll naturally aim slightly lower than the clay, and once you’re used to it, it becomes extremely consistent and forgiving. This S&W No 2 .32 RF tip up barrel revolver is in VG-EX condition,both mechanically and cosmetically. It has a 5” barrel with light scattered pitting in the bore and 8/10 rifling VG+ shiny bore. The barrel/receiver break hinge is undamaged with no play,lock up is tight. No pitting on the frame,blueing is an honest 50%,grips in VG shape with no visible damage,no chips,gouges etc,just normal wear possibly revarnished if anything. Cylinder retains sharp teeth and Pitt free chambers,index & timing are perfect and hammer holds full cock strongly. Cylinder spins freely between hammer rest and full cock. This also comes with a period correct leather holster which is in VG+ shape,no tears,original stitching still in VG shape,it has been treated with Neatsfoot oil by myself to retain the leather’s suppleness as well as conditioning the stitching. Historically this type of mid size waist coat revolver was carried by Wild Bill Hickok as a gambling gun and a back up to his pair of Colt Navy .36 cap & ball revolvers. This 1860 Colt Army .44 was built in 1862 and retains all its original numbers on the wedge,arbor pin,under barrel,front of trigger guard x2,cylinder 1850, on the grips underneath the back strap,on the grip frame. The 8” barrel has strong rifling and freckled pitting with an 80%+ shiny bore,it retains a strong 3 click hammer with tight lockup and perfect timing and indexing. The original grips show a clear military cartouche,and are damage and repair free,cylinders are clean and nipples are in VG crack free and distortion free condtion. 4 main build variants of this Model between 1860-1873 were distinguishable by the addition of a 4th screw on the left side of the receiver and a notch in the bottom of the grip frame allowing for a shoulder stock,to convert it to a usable carbine revolver which clearly shows in the pics provided. The barrel shows partial remains of “ADDRESS COL. SAM’L COLT NEW-YORK US AMERICA “ Above the trigger guard on the left side of the receiver is stamped “COLTS PATENT”, cylinder stamped PATENT 1850. The uniqueness of this particular Colt is that this revolver was built during the years of the Civil War and was likely nickel plated post Civil War by either a civilian or a surviving soldier. Presentation Nickel revolvers were widely known to be presented to Commissioned Officers of High ranking,this revolver retains 50%+ of its original nickel. It’s not flaking only wearing naturally through use and time,and still very stable with no deterioration. Up for grabs here is a sporterized 303 cal Lee Enfield. Hopefully the photos speak for themselves. The unit is not in the best of shape overall. The positive thing about this rifle is the bolt and the gun have matching serial numbers and the barrel and rifling are in very very goood shape.The gun did have a scope on it, which has since been removed (see photos). The front sight has been removed. One of the rifle sling rings is missing.The wood has some small dings and scratches and chips. There is a screw broken off on the bottom of the magazine plate.
