I have a nice KS ELRB build that I took on trade hoping to stretch out my elr shooting. Hello I'm selling a Arisaka-Carcano Type I Rifle, it is Italian made for the Japanese Imperial Navy for WW2. This is a combination of the Carcano 1891 and a Type 38. It has the action and barrel of a Carcano and it is chambered in 6.5 Jap, has the 2 piece stock, 5 round internal magazine, and the sighting system of the early Type 38. The bolt and receiver has markings from Fabbrica Nazionale d'Armi - Brescia, this is the more uncommon version accounting for roughly only a quarter of production with total estimates from 60k-130k across all factories. Two types of Type I buttstocks were made, the short and long version and this rifle is the long buttstock version. The bolt on the Type I cannot be swapped with a Carcano and vice versa as the Type I bolt has a slightly different location cut for the ejector. The exterior metal has some surface wear and some light surface rust with the buttplate being the most worn. The internals and bore are in good condition with good rifling as shown in the images and the bullet test, the bullet I used was the 6.5 Jap Norma Factory ammo. It is missing the cleaning rod and ejector, luckily the ejector is readily avaliable in parts stores such as Numrich. The rifle has a hidden duffle cut under the front barrel band, the previous owner repaired the duffle cut by putting a small wooden dowel in the cleaning rod hole and glueing the 2 pieces together. The glue has come loose and would need to be re-glued. The rifle shoots well using 0.264 Speer bullet handloads at 25M with all the shots landing well without any keyholeing. Hello everyone. I have for sale a Savage 10 Law Enforcement Edition in .308 that has been my go-to hunting rifle for the last 3 years. It has a cheek riser, directional muzzle break, 24 in heavy fluted barrel, 20 MOA rail, long range scope with heavy duty hand lapped rings, 2 proprietary Savage magazines,an extra rubber butt pad to reduce recoil even more, 3 position safety and tactical bolt knob. The stock is with the bedded aluminum chassis for rigidity and precision. The AccuTrigger is adjusted at 2 lb. This is a very very accurate rifle. Here are some bullets tested with a 3 shot group at 100 yards: Sako powerhead blade 162 gr - 0.4 in Herters soft point 150 gr -0.45 in Federal berger hybrid hunter 168 gr - 0.48 in Sellier & Bellot soft point 180 gr - 0.48 in Norma soft point 150 gr - 0.74 in Sako superhammerhead 180 gr - 0.8 in Did load development for it with Barnes TTSX 130 gr and obtained 0.35 in at 100 yards . The scope is a SKW Optics 5x30x56 FFP in 0.5 MIL/click. The scope is high quality and tracks well. It s a 34 mm tube with lots of internal adjustment. It comes with everything already done and researched. You don t have to do anything.The rifle was $900 ,scope was $700 muzzle break $100 ,butt stock pad $40, scope rings $100,scope rings handlapping $50, extra magazine $100,trigger adjustment $50. The rifle is ready to shoot. Doesn't need anything. About 300 rounds through it. Currently sighted at 300 yards. Sold as a package since the scope rings are hand lapped for this rifle. No lowballers.
