Brand new from purchase in early 2022. Made in Japan. This rifle has never had a single shot fired in it, it never even made it out to the gun range. It has never been cleaned or disassimbled. For sale is a Chiappa 1874 Sharps Sporting Competition rifle chambered in .45-70 Govt. It is a single-shot, falling-block rifle, with double set triggers. It has a 32" heavy octagon barrel (w/ an OAL of 49"). This model has a hand oiled walnut stock and forend, with beautiful color case hardened finish on the action. It has a blade (front) and ladder (rear) sight (adjustable for windage & elevation). It is in great condition with only one box of ammo (i.e., 20 rounds) through it. This rifle weighs over 10 lbs!

It has built in iron sights, and the barrel is drilled and tapped from the factory (for mounting a scope). It is in great condition with low round count (less than a box!). Overall it's in very nice shape. 30" wide vent rib barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, fixed full over modified chokes, single trigger, with ejectors. Deluxe fully engraved receiver with gold inlays on both sides. Bluing shows very well throughout with no real notable imperfections.
