This is conversion to 45ACP /45 Auto also compatible with .455 Webley As well as original 11mm ammo. This one is in excellent original condition. it is "in the white", meaning it has never been blued or plated. It is not pitted, and all the markings are sharp and complete. The serial numbers are repeated on all components: the barrel, cylinder, frame, grips, internal mechanism parts and even the screw heads and escutcheons. Everything matches. The bore of the 4 1/2 inch barrel is as perfect and it is mirror bright and the rifling is sharp. The action is excellent and accurate, and the cylinder indexes and locks properly. The walnut grips are excellent and show no damage this one looks like new. SN G47715, manufactured in 1886, rated excellent overall. MAS Mle 1873 French Service Revolver, 11mm French Ordnance The Mle 1873 was France's first double action cartridge revolver. After the disastrous loss to Prussia in the war of 1870, the French military closely examined its armaments and small arms, and they came to the conclusion that a new, more rugged and powerful side arm for their infantry was required. The result was the Mle 1873, designed by the famous partners of Chamelot & Delvigne, whose genius ideas would dominate much of the European military (and commercial) small arms market for decades to come. Many European countries adopted their designs, including Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, Russia and Belgium. Only the Brits and Germans would continue to develop their own side arms.

This is an original U.S. military M1916 hip holster designed for the Colt M1911 or M1911A1 .45 ACP pistol, widely issued during World War II (and earlier in WWI). Key Identifying Features •  Embossed “US” in an oval on the flap (standard for U.S. Army-issue holsters). •  Brown leather construction. •  Brass flap stud. •  Belt hook on the reverse. •  Leg tie-down thong (the rawhide or leather lanyard loop at the bottom). This shows honest wear (scuffs, dryness, some cracking, and patina), which is consistent with wartime use rather than a modern reproduction (repros are usually cleaner and often explicitly marked as such). Original WWII M1916 holsters in good to very good used condition typically sell for $150–$300 on sites like eBay, GunBroker, or militaria dealers. I am happy to ship this Anywhere. I did not get the 'go' gauges as that defines the minimum headspace and I was looking out for headspace growing with usage of the gun. Primarily for when I was searching for guns to purchase.  The field gauges indicate maximum safe headspace in used guns, i.e. slightly larger than the SAAMI as manufactured. If a 'Field' gauge will chamber, don't shoot the gun.  I'm not sure if I ever actually used these. They are in as new condition.
