For sale is a Winchester model 55 Nickel steel take down chambered in .30 W.C.F. Serial number 1047350. 24" barrel. The gun is in good shape for its age.The barrel and rifling are clean and good. Smooth lever action. The is a hairline crack in the stock and a little blemishing to the wood in fore grip. It comes with a little peep sight. See pictures for markings and condition. The model 55 was made between 1924-1932 and is a relativity rare rifle with only 20,500 made. Bluing ice every nice shape throughout with only light blemishes here or there. Stocks are very nice, top of the butt stock has some normal finish loss. Bore is in very nice shape. Takedown is tight. This 12g is in good shape for being made around 1907. It’s made by Marlin for the National Fire Arms Co and is identical to an 1898 model Marlin for TakeDown steps. Some say it’s a Model 21 Marlin. We have left the investigation to the new owner as well as the safety to shoot this nearly 120 year old shotgun is your responsibility. There is an old wrist repair that was well done and still solid. Make a great display piece, and comes with 1 brass 12g case with primer. Has a great patina on receiver, 50% blue remains on barrel. This is a cool take down gun with a 30” barrel and is a true piece of History!
