This is an original WWII-era Canadian “Crash” tanker helmet (officially known as the Helmet, Crash, Tank Battalion), a rare piece of Canadian armored forces gear produced in limited numbers (around 12,000 total) starting in 1940. It features a cloth-covered cork shell (painted black), rubber side vents, a web suspension liner, leather chinstrap, and the distinctive leather “scrum” (headphone holder) laced and buttoned underneath for radio equipment. These were primarily used by tank crews in Canada (not issued overseas) and remained in service until the 1960s. Your example appears complete, with visible wear and patina consistent with age and use, including some cracking on the shell and scrum—common for these due to the materials. *Price reduction fro a quick sale* This is a High Condition 1944 BSA selected to be upgraded into a "T" pattern sniper rifle with correct "TR" marking on the left side of receiver ring. These sniper rifles were based on hand selected No. 4 rifles and saw service with Commonwealth forces during WWII and into the 1960s. In addition to the rifle's standard protected blade front sight and ladder rear, Scope is a No. 32 Mk. II OS. 1650A & mounted on a quick detach base. Scope is dated 1944 and numbered "15803"which is matched to the rifle with the same number force matched on the wrist(see photo). Cast scope base is a high quality reproduction(Roger Payne replica) and was Matched 3522 to same as on the bolt and rifle. Walnut stock with cheek piece, "S51" also stamped behind the grip indicating the rifle is a wartime conversion by famed gunmaker Holland & Holland. CONDITION: Very Good. Metal retains the vast majority of its arsenal applied finishes with some fading. Stocks show small nicks and impressions throughout as is to be expected on military issue arms. Good, strong grooves and bright bore. Scope is original and is still very clear for it age. Also included as an original green metal scope case for securing the scope. Austrian M1895 Bayonet for the Steyr Mannlicher M1895 Rifle It has the Steyr Trademark marked on the blade as well as on the scabbard frog guard. OE over WG The opposite side of the blade has the Austrian Imperial Eagle marked on it.  The Frog Guard has both of the above markings. The Release Button works smoothly. The end of the Pommel has the number 7558 stamped on it. The Guard has the number 4233 stamped on it. Believed to have been refurbished by the Bulgarians postwar when a new serial number was added to the Guard. The blade is unsharpened with some small nicks located between 1 ½´and 3 ¼” in front of the guard. Excellent condition, vintage black sheared beaver fur and leather coat. It was originally purchased at Paris Furs in Edmonton. The jacket has always been stored in a clothing bag. Comes from a smoke/pet free home. Has leather sleeves and sides. Pockets on each side. The fur is beautiful and very soft. Size would be extra large.
