Up for sale is a Tikka M65 (Tikkakoski) in 30–06. Made in Sweden. Overall this gun is in very good condition. The blewing is nice and the stock is in good shape with a few slight rubs and one small fill (see pictures) Bore is excellent, Drilled and tapped for scope. Here we have a lightly used Sako 85M Bavarian in 30-06 with schnaubel fore-end. It has the Sako set-trigger as well. Rifle has had one box of ammo through it. Small mark on the cheek piece. Selling it because I’m going back to .308, .303 and 6.5x55 for my hunting rifles, decided I don’t need a 30-06 for the kind of hunting I’ll be doing. In October 1942, Smith-Corona Typewriter Company began producing M1903A3 in the Springfield rifle plant in Syracuse, with assistance from Remington Arms and High Standard Manufacturing Company. Subcontractor barrels give unusual collector value to some of these 234,580 Spring field rifles. They ceased building Rifles in 1944. Chambered in 30-06 Springfield, rifle is in good to very good condition. Has 20 MOA Pic Rail to mount scope. Stock is nice!
