Wooden stock and wooden fore stock are both delicately checkered. Well cared for. Has not been fired for many decades. No rust or pitting on any metal parts. This rifle was purchased and imported by me in 2010. I’m the original owner. This is a left hand bolt action .22lr, magazine fed 5 shot repeater. It has a 24” #3 Douglas barrel,OD green Kevlar stock w/cheekpiece. There are a total of 3-5 shot magazines plus one that needs work to function properly. I’ve ruined enough mags to know better than to try to fix it myself. The barrelled action was a satin finish that’s been Ceracoated. It has a Timney trigger and a Talley picatinny 0 degree rail, also two sets of different height 1” ULA proprietary rings also made by Talley. Includes two EB Rifleman 2.8-9X40 green anodized scopes with P4 reticle and target turrets, a wood M40 style stock that has a pillar bedded action and free floated barrel. The Kevlar stock is full length bedded including the barrel. Speaking of the barrel, it’s a 24” chrome/moly not stainless and it’s 0.660” at the muzzle, so it’s heavier than a standard barrel but it’s not as heavy as a varmint weight barrel. It’s for sale because I’m not going to make good use of it at my age. It’s only going to waste in the gun safe. Once again it is a left hand action. Condition and performance? Condition is Excellent and can it shoot? Absolutely. It’s not picky about ammo. Will shoot most standard velocity well, never tried high velocity and absolutely no Stingers. I believe they’ll cause problems due to the type of chamber. Besides, if you use Stingers you don’t need this type of rifle. If you have any other questions or need more photos, let me know.

The word Paragon means, “a model of excellence”. And this is true of this optic series. I see the Paragon as being the technological descendant of the old Bellorussian PK-AS sight, a one power prism sight that through innovative use of lenses, seems to have a nearly non existent edge when you look through it. Thick opaque edges serve only to limit situational awareness. Competing brands and their prism sights are a miss due to large knobs… they are “good enough”. But the nearly invisible edge of the PK-AS and later on the Paragon discarded the idea that “good enough” was actually “good enough” in regards to situational awareness. I have for sale a very nice Belgium Browning Auto 5 Light Twelve made in 1973. It has a 28" fixed full choke barrel. Bluing, engraving and wood checkering on the forestock are still in great shape. Bore is mirror clean. Only issues are some scratches and a small dent in the wood stock as noted in the pictures. Haven't shot it, got it in a trade. Looking for $1000 firm.
