Bolt has been scribed with same serial number as action but is not the factory matched bolt (I don't think) Head spacing verified GO / NO-GO.  #2 Bolt head.  5 groove Rifling is shiny & crisp. Proper F marked 1st variation Mk1 rear milled sight, 200 to 1300 yds. Fore stock wood is matching No2 (not modified No1) but serial is for a different rifle, buttstock has had a heel repair. I am downsizing, so up is my prized antique Colt revolver in 45 acp. This gun is dated 1876 as per the low serial number. It was refinished some time in its past life. It has a new barrel, comes with brand new internals and screws. All original parts are included, or at least all the parts that came with the gun when I got it. It also comes with an additional 455 Webley cylinder. This gun was tuned by Rusty wood trading company and has a roughly 2 lb butter smooth trigger pull. The only issue with the gun is the one piece grips don't exactly fit, so there is some overlap on the bottom of the frame as seen in the pictures. Otherwise it is in perfect condition. All four clicks are present on the hammer notches. I am also including some extra goodies. I am including a bunch of snap caps, an extra set of two piece wood grips that I was working on trying to fit to the frame, a one size fits all nylon holster, 6000 large pistol primers, and 2000 Winchester factory primed 45 ACP brass brand new that are listed in my other ads. This is local Edmonton area sales only, I'm not shipping this. Not looking for trades but will accept non-refundable payment plans over a reasonable period of time. Cash or EMT only. Rare 1944 ROF Maltby No4 Mk1*. Yes it is stamped "No4 Mk1*" on the side of the action but it has the regular Mk1 bolt release and not the No1* bolt notch. There is no real documentation how or why it happened but common theory is that in the height of the war, you used what you had, and someone mistakenly produced a few Mk1 actions with a Mk1* stamp. Definitely a collectors rifle, this one is a bit dusty from decades of storage. Looks like it was hardly fired, no wear on the action, clean bolt face, original forearm serialized to the action. Matching serial on the bolt, not the magazine. In its original configuration, paint is chipped off in some areas from handling & storage. Possibly part of the lot that was in storage with the French Police post WW2. Wood is all original to the rifle except the rear handguard, which was cracked & split and the butt stock which had damage. I replaced the handguard with a near identical one and the butt stock is NOS late war William Sykes SL N74 marked. It is the exact 44/45 run of butt stocks, known by their coarse spoke shave finish. Local pickup for Edmonton area in ST Albert. Shipping can be arranged at buyers expense. PAL will be verified.
