Wind resistance We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The goal is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity. When the tent is properly pitched and the guy ropes are in place, it should remain habitable in a force 7 wind, measured at 60 km/h. Waterproofing We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory: 4 hours under 200 litres of water/hour/m², the equivalent of a tropical rain shower of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done by our teams in the field under real conditions. This tent is equipped with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet with 2000 mm water resistance. It also has seams taped using heat-sealed strips and a 190 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet. I have a 10x12 heavy weight canvas wall tent for sale. Comes with wood stove, disvo bed cots which can be used independently or as a bunk bed. The tent has poles or it can be set up with logs as a prospectors tent. With the wood stove going we'd be in t-shirts even during those cold late season hunting nights.
