Pure bred Rough Collie pups born January 1/25 and now ready for rehoming. We have 2 left from a litter of 6: a Blue Merle (male) and a Tri-Color (male). Rough Collies are extremely intelligent, loyal, have a gentle disposition, are wonderful with children and other pets, and make wonderful companions. We are a retired couple and have lots of time to thoroughly nurture them all. They have been Vet checked and have received their vaccinations. The pictures show the 2 pups - the Blue Merle is aesthetically perfect and we are asking $1500; the Tri-Color is is playful, somewhat timid (and we are asking $1000) Both are extremely affectionate. Their mother is a Blue Merle, their father, a Sable. Among the pictures there is also a picture of what a Tri-Color looks like as an adult. We are located on an acreage in Central Alberta. Santana, 6 year old female staffordshire terrier Santana came to me this past Thursday, Nov 21 as she was about to be euthanized at Edmonton animal control if she couldn't be placed. I am in contact with her previous owner and the information below is provided. Santana is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, house trained and a giant snuggle bug! She would be best suited in an only dog home unless a slow introduction is had. She has never shown signs of aggression to other animals but she can be possessive of high value toys and bones. She is best suited in a home with older kids 10+ that know how to respect a dog's space. She was attacked by a cat and now has a fear so a cat free home is recommended. Santana walks amazing on leash and will let you know when she has to go outside to use the potty. This sweet girl just wants to curl up and be with her person while enjoying some Netflix and chill! These puppies were born December, 3 2023 on a regenerative farm west of Edmonton. Parents are both fed a raw diet and have free range of our 10 acre farm! Dad is Great Pyrenees/ Anatolian Shepard and weighs 125 lbs. Mom is a pure bred Great Pyrenees and weighs 100 lbs. Both dogs are extremely loyal, come when called and have extraordinary personalities. These puppies will be an excellent dog to guard your property, other animals and your whole family! You will not have any preditor problems on your land and can enjoy a great family dog at the same time. They will bark at new people to warn you of them but they stop quickly when they know they are safe, then they appreciate some pets from all present. They love the outdoors and staying outside. A home with space outdoors is needed to ensure they have room to do their job and a place to stay cool as well. Our two stay outside all year long with just places to get out of the wind and rain. Puppies will have there first set of shots and de-wormer, If you have other preferences please let us know before Febuary. Pick up will be available after Feb 10th.
