Semi-Custom Kimber Montana in 6.5 PRC. Built by Mitch Kendall. Kimber 8400 Action is Trued and has a custom recoil lug.  The Rifle has a Benchmark 5R, 1:8 Twist, #2 contour Stainless barrel, finished at 24” with a threaded Muzzle Brake   All metal has been bead blasted and  the CF stock has been painted. Comes with 30 mm Talley rings. The rifle has 43 rounds fired and is in excellent condition and very accurate.  Currently wearing a Leupold VX-5HD 3-18x44 CDS-ZL2 illuminated Firedot Duplex, which  can be worked into the deal if desired . A complete example of the relatively rare, .577 calibre, Pattern 1856 British percussion cavalry carbine, this one made in 1861, and Tower marked on the lock. It has the cavalry sling bar and ring, captive ramrod and three leaf, flip-up, rear sight calibrated to 100, 200 and 300 yards. In 1856 the cavalry carbine was authorised by the British government, and was based upon the carbine in service with the East India Company at that time, known in service as the East India Service Pattern.  The bore is shiney and the rifling is crisp, with minimal pitting. The woodwork is in good shape for a 164 year old piece. As is not uncommon with muzzle loaders with captive ramrods there is some chipping to the edge of the ramrod channel in the forestock; see the pictures for this. If picked up locally I will add some period correct.'English' cartridges, with production of a current PAL . I am not looking for trades, unless you have a reproduction Parker Hale Whitworth rifle plus cash difference. Asking price includes postage within Canada. No PAL required to own this antique firearm. This is a .22 competition target Vickers rifle made in the 1930s, some time between 1934 and 1939. It is a 44 1/2" long, quite heavy beast with the Vickers signature 'relieved' barrel-to-fore stock mounting, apparently to enhance the accuracy. It utilises the narrow, falling block, Martini-type action. The bore is bright and shiney, with crisp rifling. It has competion-type fore and rear sights. Overall it is in good to excellent shape. The only thing of note is that at some point a previous owner drilled a line of holes underneath the forestock, which have been filled. The images give an idea of the overall condition of the rifle.
