Functionally everything works, good ejection and firing pin contact, good trigger pull but I did have some intermittant cycling issues, the shotshell would just back under the lift plate if I did not ensure the shotshells were pushed properly into the magazine. Tikka Model 65 in 7mm Rem. Mag. Ref #1002DS Tikka Model 65 in 7mm Remington Magnum. Made in Finland. A rare find. It wears a Leupold M8 4x scope in what I believe to be original Tikka rings, bases are integral to the rifle. Has a front sight but original rear sight is missing. It is drilled and tapped for a rear sight. Detachable magazine. It has the usual bumps and scratches from use. Functionally is checks out. The bore is very clean with rifling top to bottom. It loads, ejects and has a good firing pin strike. Two position safety works, locks the bolt when in safe mode. I did have one ejection issue during testing with app. 20 cycles. Weatherby Mark V in 300 Weatherby Mag Ref #101MZ Weatherby Mark V in 300 Weatherby Mag. This one is one of the rare, Made in W. Germany rifles, and it wears an original Weatherby post scope 2¾x to 10x in Leupold bases. It is in very nice shape. The only flaw aside from a few bumps or light scraps is it appears to have been shot by someone wearing a beaver hat with flaps and metal clips. Selling my Custom 28 Nosler Remington 700 action, H&S bottom metal and magazine that will accommodate 3.7”OAL, very crisp Timney trigger. Barrel is a 27” fluted #5 contour Benchmark barrel with a 1-8.5 twist rate that is free floated. Action is sitting in a Bergara B14 stock with pillar beds to ensure proper action screw torque, limbsaver recoil pad. This is very well balanced rifle and despite its light weight the recoil is very light. The rifle hasn’t seen more than 80 rounds. Coming from this 27” barrel Hornady Precision Hunter with a 162 eldx was clocking 3325fps over my garmin chronograph. Comes with a set of Redding dies with a FL resizer, neck sizer, and seating die.
