It has built in iron sights, and the barrel is drilled and tapped from the factory (for mounting a scope). It is in great condition with low round count (less than a box!). De Lisle Paratroopers Carbine reproduction for sale. Originally De Lisle Carabine was designed for use by special operations forces, primarily the British Commando Brigades.  The majority of De Lisle Carbines (500) were intended to be produced with their original fixed SMLE butt-stocks. However, 50 were earmarked for a folding ‘para’ stock. The sole surviving example of a folding stock De Lisle Carbine resides today at the Small Arms School Corps collection at Warminster, UK. This reproduction is made to be as historically accurate a copy as possible but exactly according with Canadian Law.  It is a 7.62 x 25 caliber based on the Mark 3 model . It has a long 19" barrel that passes through 2" casing. No plastic parts were used. Only test rounds through the barrel.  It is the only ONE reproduction with folding stock in Canada, and possibly in all North America. The carbine functions well and is a pleasure to shoot.  The price is $3199 plus actual shipping with $100 insurance. Additional insurance is available at the buyer's request and expense.
