For sale is a Marlin model 1893 antique lever action rifle with octagon barrel. has been in the family for generations. Butt was repaired at some point in its life. I believe needs a spring in the cocking mechanism other than that everything works smooth. This is the gun that changed the west and gave us our country. Amazing piece of history with the marks to prove its story. Looks amazing in a den room. 1500 takes it.

Howdy Townpost! I've got a nice little uncommon and good condition subcompact Remington for sale now! This started its life as a Remington Model 1865 New Model Police as a cap and ball percussion revolver in .36 caliber. Many of these were never percussion guns as they existed in a weird transition period. And Remington made some of them from the ground up as cartridge guns. This one most likely was in inventory as a percussion revolver and was turned into a .38 rimfire cartridge revolver based on the serial number, in my opinion. These are one of the more rare and lesser known Remington cap and ball guns that were made. Remington only made 18,000 between 1865 and 1873. So they are relatively uncommon and scarce gun today. This is actually my personal favorite model of Remington percussion revolver they're a very handy subcompact-sized gun by today's standards they're bigger and much more comfortable in the hand in the grip than the pocket models but nice and light unlike the full size military .44s and they point very naturally. This particular example is in very good condition the nickel is a very high percentage of coverage some of the original silver plate is still visible on the trigger guard and some of the low areas. The color case hardening is still very colorful and defined on the hammer (pictured). The grips have been refinished but they are the originals. The wood grain is very interesting and beautiful in my opinion. The bore is in excellent condition especially for a Civil War era black powder firearm. This was likely carried in a police officer's holster and not fired much. It was well taken care of and the clean and good condition bore and chambres are reflection of that. The the mechanical function of this firearm is excellent as well. When I got the firearm it was actually in amazing condition to begin with and the mechanical function was perfect. It locks up and times perfectly. The hammer and the trigger pull are very crisp, light and smooth. And didn't require any adjustment, Remington did the job and they did it right the first time. The entire revolver has been taken apart and given a gunsmith's cleaning and was reassembled and lightly oiled. I came across a nice little Hunter leather holster at a gun show and found that it fit this gun very well so it's included as a freebie with the gun (pictured). The revolver is located in Calgary AB for local delivery or pickup. Or I can ship it nationwide too.

Purchased new in 2014 and shot 40 times cleaned and left in storage since. While hunting the back nipple that holds the shoulder strap broke. The bolt was lost during storage and the one seen in the picture is from a 710 Remington 30-06 this 30-06 is a Remington Model 770. It fits and latches in a little snug no round has been fired through with the 710 bolt. Please consult a gunsmith prior to firing. Gun is reduced price to account for a new bolt.

Up for sale is a Winchester model 70 called " The Westerner " . The rifle  is actually engraved from the factory "The Westerner".   I have done research and can't seem to find anything out about what why these were made or what it meant. They seem to be extremely hard to come by.  This rifle is in excellent shape and has seen hardly any use. It's in easy to get ammo .243. It has a very smooth action and has a blind 5 round mag that opens from the bottom to empty out.  The wood is beautiful  with some marks. I have taken some pictures to show it.  It comes with the rings , bases and a Simmons 3x9x40  scope mounted and sighted but should be fined tuned to your preference.  From my research the " Westerner " rifles are fitted with a 2 inch longer barrel, scroll work done on the receiver, checkering done in the stock . Not pressed checkering , actual checkering. A different lighter colored wood, then the usual dark wood stock of Winchester. I do not want to get messages that this is a low end $ 700 Winchester as that is not the case. You will be ignored with EXTREME PREJUDICE! I'm allergic to STUPID, and I break out in SARCASM. So you have been warned. The asking price is $1500 + shipping obo. The pictures don't do this rifle justice as she really I a beautiful rifle.  You can try trades. Looking for a pump or semi action shotgun for hunting  that does 3inch plus shells.  Also looking for a Remington model 700 in .270 or 30.06, with a detachable magazine system. This is a Tranter Model 1863 Single Action Revolver Chambered in .455 centre fire. The majority of the model 1863’s were a double action with only a few hundred being produced in single action. Approximate serial number range for the single actions are between 4000 to 4500. This item being serial number 4010 would make it one of the first to be made of this model. The single actions were mostly produced in .442 rimfire, it is not known how many were produced in centre fire making this even more rare. This item has a 6-1/2” barrel with Cogswell & Harrison London retailer address engraved into it. Birmingham proof marks can be found on the barrel and frame. The firearm retains around 85% of the original finish. The checkered walnut grips are in excellent condition with a few very light dings. Mechanically it is in excellent condition and functions as it should. This is a very attractive English revolver that would fit well with any antique collection. this is an antique to no PAL is required for purchase. Buyer must be 18 or older and able to prove it. Shipping is available at buyers expense. All used firearms should be inspected by a competent gunsmith prior to any form of use.

Here is a U.S. model 1917 Trench Knife made by American Cutlery Company displayed with a U.S. model 1917 Helmet. This item still retains much of its original finish. The grips have a few minor dings with no cracks. The 9” triangle blade has one noticeable ding that would be consistent with a defensive block and one small area of pitting on two sides of the blade. The First World War brought along many advancements in firearms and armour but with that being said often the taking of trenches involved brutal hand to hand combat. Very often soldiers would find the trench battle too tight of quarters to use their rifles and would switch to knives, clubs, shovels and anything else that would give them an edge in hand to hand combat.
